Our first new development in Riihimäki to be completed in the height of summer
Press release 28 June 2023
A new apartment complex, As Oy Riihimäen Pesispolku, will comprise 100 rental apartments and a large-scale solar energy system. Personalised and comprehensive services produce an experience of carefree rental living.
Joo Kodit, a rental property owner operating across Finland, is strengthening its presence in Riihimäki. In late July to early August, a new apartment complex called As Oy Riihimäen Pesispolku will be completed in Riihimäki's Peltokylä district, offering a total of one hundred Joo Kodit rental apartments ranging from studios to two-bedroom units.
– Riihimäki is a conveniently located and pleasant place to live, so I believe Joo Kodit and Riihimäki are a great match. The completion of this project is just around the corner, and I'm delighted that we can marvel at the finished development soon," says Antti Niskanen , the CEO of Joo Kodit.
The new rental apartments are within walking distance of both the city centre and the railway station. The attractive nearby parks and nature areas provide excellent opportunities for various outdoor activities and sports.
The cosy apartments feature high-quality materials and appliances, as well as beautiful beige accent walls.
All of Joo Kodit's new developments, including As Oy Riihimäen Pesispolku, are built to fulfill the standards of the highest A energy rating. What's more, a substantial 29-kilowatt solar power system will be installed on the roof of the building.
Carefree rental living is an attractive option in today's uncertain financial climate
The carefree nature of rental living is now especially attractive to many. With the rising costs of home ownership, including housing and loan expenses, as well as economic uncertainty, renting can often be the most sensible solution.
– We have no security deposit or minimum rental term for our apartments, which means the costs of moving in are low. However, carefree rental living is much more than just peace of mind in terms of finances. It's a comprehensive service. Our residents can handle all their housing-related matters through the Jooppi app or give us a call. Whenever they do that, our attitude is 'JOO', which means yes in Finnish. We've got it covered for them, says Niskanen.
